Nantucket Wedding in Madaket | Abby & Jeff

A cozy fire, soft lighting and a room full of family and friends provided a romantic setting for Abby and Jeff’s Nantucket wedding. We lucked out with the weather! February on Nantucket can mean a fierce “nor’easter” or an incredible snowstorm. On this day, however, guests enjoyed a reprieve from the usual freezing temperatures and enjoyed a gorgeous day in Madaket for the festivities.

It’s so inspiring to see friends and family come together as a way of blessing a couple’s commitment to one another. The bride’s children accompanied their mother down the “aisle;” siblings read inspired passages; the groom’s father officiated the ceremony; the nuptial rings were passed among all present as a means of inclusion and sanction of the day’s events; and a bright unity candle lit the way for this happy family’s future.
